Come See Hawaii and the Scenic House of the Sun

Come See Hawaii and the Scenic House of the Sun.
Does vacationing under the Maui sun appeal to you? This is one of Hawaii's island formations - in fact, separated into a pair of islands - East and West maui. East Maui’s biggest feature is a 10,000 foot wide volcano, Haleakala, the House of the Sun. The volcano remains an ominous physical structure on the island since it isn't dead, it is only inactive. The volcano's most recent eruption took place in the late 1700s. There is an amazing and breath-taking view from the volcano's peak.
In a visit to East Maui you will find lush tropical vegetation and waterfalls so beautiful they will take your breath away. A town of adventure Hana, a favorite to the adventureous, is at the point of the island. Coiling along the North Shore on Hana Highway you will see the coastline which is impassable.
The only way to see the beauty of the North Shore is to take a helicopter ride. As you make your way along the northern shore, visible from your eagle's eye view are the dramatic sea cliffs, isolated beaches, and more amazing waterfalls than you could dream of. The helicopter ride you will take to view this area will be a great part of your trip.
The oldest volcano in Maui is their mountains located in West Maui. All that remains of a once-huge volcano are these mountains. The rains have changed the landscape of the area. Nicknamed The Valley Isle because of these mountains, West Maui is the recipient of around 500 inches of rain a year. The waterfalls are the awesome outcome of all this rainfall. Because it is inaccessible the area has remained untouched and it is truly one of the most spectacular areas you will ever see in your lifetime.
Molokai is only 9 miles from Maui and this would be another fine destination for your trip. From the moment you step foot into Molokai, the change in culture will become quite evident. This casual and laid-back region is called 'one of Hawaii's best kept secrets', apparent in the scenic splendor and ambiance of the place. Another part of your helicopter trip should include the northeastern coast which is a very secluded area.
The sea cliffs which are touted as the tallest in the world go thousands of feet in the air with the beaches resting below. This is an area that no man can get into on foot or any other way. The best way to view it is in a helicopter. Over half the residents of Molokai are, themselves, unfamiliar with this area. This is really a phenomenal area and you'll want to see this area of Hawaii. The area of East Maui, West Maui, Hana and Molokai are definitely worth the time to see what the real Hawaii looks like.
